Words... Words can be the shining light that guides you out of the darkest tunnel, but then the wrong words will in fact be the darkness itself. Darkness and light, these two extremities can be separated by just 1 word.
In the moment of hurt, i can unconsciously hurt the people i love. Hurt and be hurt, is this the way words work. If it is, then God please take away these hurtful words don't let it be the word we hurt each other with.
My heart is like this now:
After a sleepless night, i decided to skip school today for the first time. Why was i so dumb? So i ended up spending the entire morning watching the movie Karas and playing Assassin's Creed and Ninja Gaiden 2. After venting it out on the games, i went down to AMK Hub's Fun Center to get my games; Tales of Vesperia and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Then after, i went down to Orchard for a walk, and finally to Beach Road Army Market for a late lunch and early dinner.
On my way back, i saw this verse while i was on the bus and i did not know why it hitted me so hard..
Here it is:
1 “At the same time,” says the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”
2 Thus says the LORD:
“ The people who survived the sword
Found grace in the wilderness—
Israel, when I went to give him rest.”
3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying:
“ Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
You shall again be adorned with your tambourines,
And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.
5 You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria;
The planters shall plant and eat them as ordinary food.
6 For there shall be a day
When the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim,
‘ Arise, and let us go up to Zion,
To the LORD our God.’”
